Introduction

Greetings RuneScaper!
This guide, is all about effects and colors you can use in RuneScape. The codes, of the effects & colors are just like a BBCode on a forum.

Colors from red, to purple!
Effects from flash, to scroll (marquee)!

Some tips before you start

• When typing your effects and colors, please make sure that caps lock is off, and the letters are small, otherwise, it shall not work out how you have planned =). I had this problem when I was doing it. I.E do not do this with an effect or color FLASH1: lol man look at me
  
• If you are doing an effect, but want it to be red for example. Make sure you put the color before the effect!! I.E do not do this - flash1: red: lol i own
  

  Red being the color, and Flash1 being the effect.

• Remember not to use two effects or colors in the same sentance. I.E scroll: Haha I own flash1: Seriously, I own!!

Now you know the basics, lets get started!

Effects

Tip: Remember, always add a colon (':') before after any effect or color.

wave: [Text] - Your text goes wavey, up and down, up and down..!

wave2: [Text] - This is similar to "wave:" except your text moves from left to right.

slide: [Text] - Your text drifts from the top to the middle, and stops for a few seconds then drifts off to the bottom.

flash1: [Text] - Your text flashes from yellow to red, with immense speed.

flash2: [Text] - Your text flashes from light to dark blue, with immense speed.

flash3: [Text] - Your text flashes from light to dark green, with immense speed.

shake: [Text] - Your text shakes, shakes, and then stops. Similar to the waves.

scroll: [Text] - Your text marquees, from right to left.

glow1: [Text] - Your text changes its color from red to orange to yellow to green to light blue.

glow2: [Text] - Your text changes its color from red to pink to purple to blue to purple to red.

glow3: [Text] - Your text changes its color from white to light green to dark green to light green to white to light blue.

That is the effects, over. Now you should have mastered all 12 effects!

Colors

Tip: Remember, always add a colon (':') before after any effect or color.


cyan: [Text] - Makes your text light blue.

red: [Text] - Makes your text red.

green: [Text] - Makes your text green.

white: [Text] - Makes your text white.

purple: [Text] - Makes your text purple.

Lets learn some combinations!

Combinations

If you are doing an effect, but want it to be red for example. Make sure you put the color before the effect!! I.E do not do this - flash1: red: lol i own

Red being the color, and Flash1 being the effect.

Combinations (combos), are combining the color and the effect together. To make a shakey blue sentence for instance!

How to combo you ask?

Well bearing in mind the tips, get your color and get your effect.

Lets start with a red flash. I would write:

red:flash1: RUNESCAPEREALM OWNS!!

So using other colors and effects you would do this:

color:effect: Text
