You can either make a flash movie or an animated gif or just upload an animated gif or a flash movie as your avatar from your computer or just find one that you like online or something… That’s all I can help you with… Sorry…
I used adobe Imagready 3 to make mine, I think there are some free programs you can get ask Joliojoilo or Azgolar about it.
Most common; you can use flash media player - free trial for like 30 days, or if you want BUY it for like $300… or you can also use an animator such as Jasac Paint shop Animator, or another source of compiler / animators - these are relatively inexpensive… Good luck!
